American scientists have determined that solar storms can cause disruptions in the navigation of whales and birds.
According to MediaPotok, during a new scientific project, the researchers decided to learn about cases of ejection of whales ashore, depending on the frequency of outbreaks on the star.
As a result, specialists analyzed information on such cases over the past 30 years. After that, they reduced the amount of landmasses thrown onto land to 186 when the animals were healthy.
As a result, experts noticed that on the shore of the whales it was possible to meet twice as often during the period of solar activity. As the authors of the scientific study explained, if the sun emitted the highest level of radiation, such cases became four times more.
